We’re excited to welcome you to this outstanding event!

Dear Colleagues,

I am delighted to extend a warm invitation to the AMPP Alberta Conference, which will be held in Calgary, Canada, from February 9 to 12, 2026. As the Chair of the Conference Committee, it is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to this significant event.

After a seven-year hiatus, we are thrilled to bring back the AMPP Alberta Conference (formerly NACE Northern Area Western Conference) to Calgary. The theme of this year’s conference, “Infrastructure Resilience to Corrosion during Energy Transition,” underscores the critical challenges and opportunities we face as we navigate the evolving landscape of energy. Our program is designed to address these pressing issues through a blend of insightful presentations, dynamic discussions, and collaborative sessions focused on corrosion, sustainability, coatings, and asset integrity.

Alberta boasts a vibrant, energetic industry, with some of the sector’s leaders developing novel technologies to ensure our aging infrastructure remains intact, even decades beyond its original design life. It is the North American central hub for new sustainable efforts to reduce the impact our industry has on the planet, with emerging technologies like carbon capture and hydrogen. Additionally, much of the infrastructure our society depends on is aging due to neglect, such as our critical water systems. Our conference offers a strong variety of AMPP-related topics.

Calgary, with its newly completed artistic BMO Center, will provide a stunning backdrop for this gathering. While the city will be cold and snowy in February, we encourage you to embrace the winter beauty and explore its many attractions. Network and interact at a full tradeshow and multiple social events, while learning new skills through our presentations and tutorials.

We look forward to your participation and are confident that the AMPP Alberta Conference will be an enriching and inspiring experience for all attendees.
